Overview

The Staged Electronic Data Deliverable (SEDD) Generator Tool was developed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Analytical Services Branch (ASB) to create SEDD Extensible Markup Language (XML) files. These XML files are based on the SEDD Specification. For further information on the SEDD Specification, please visit the USEPA SEDD Web site.

The SEDD Generator Tool utilizes the data provider's Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)-compliant data source that can be transferred through the Internet to the data requestor.

The SEDD Generator Tool opens up communication between data partners by providing the following features:

• Handles multiple data requirements;Has a dynamic operational mechanism;Has worldwide accessibility;Provides real-time delivery;Requires no additional cost to the data providers; and
• Utilizes a uniform data format.
